My name is Marc Carvalho, and I'm a creative specialised in generative AI.
It all started with my own apartment. I bought it while it was still under construction, with a very precise idea of what I wanted. From the plans, I modelled the apartment in 3D. But once the work was done, I hit a wall: I couldn't picture myself in it. The raw 3D, with its flat colours and low-grade textures, showed me nothing of what I would actually feel living there.
Since I make AI films, an idea came to me: what if I turned my 3D plans into a real photorealistic walkthrough video? The result was stunning. Suddenly, I could see my future apartment.
I then wondered whether this could interest professionals. I tested it with architects and interior designers, and the response was immediate. Several told me it would be wonderful to have this method built into their tools. The final trigger came from meeting BIM software players: several told me that being able to generate, on the fly, a photorealistic video of their creations would be a game changer. Walkroom was born.
The AI world talks about prompt engineering, code, agents, MCP. At Walkroom, none of that. You upload two screenshots of your 3D design, and our AI handles the rest. That's it.
Walkroom doesn't just animate an image: in a few clicks, it assembles your scenes into a real promotional film of your project, ready to present, ready to publish.
Helping architects make their clients feel the project, so they approve faster, more confidently, and buy into it right from the presentation.
A photorealistic walkthrough means a client who truly projects themselves, who approves faster and buys into the project, instead of guessing from a static render.
Walkroom in brief. Based in Île-de-France, Walkroom has been in development since March 2026. Version 1.0 launched on 1 August 2026.
